Please join the mission group after worship service next Sunday, Oct. 14th for a chili potluck. A freewill offering will be collected to benefit our window fund. We are looking forward to good food and fellowship as we celebrate the autumn season!
Throughout the month of October, St. Peter’s will be taking donations for Neighbors in Need. Offering envelopes were in the October 10th bulletin; however, for the rest of the month please make a note on your normal offering envelope. Contributions to Neighbors in Need can also be made online at www.ucc.org/nin .

We will be raffling off this gorgeous lap quilt made by Christine Burman at Trunk or Treat! All proceeds go to the Stained Glass Window Fund. It will be on display during Sunday Service the next 4 Sundays, and you can buy raffle tickets in the Fellowship Hall after Sunday service!

The ladies bible study will be resuming their studies the first Tuesday of the month beginning October 2nd. The Book of Luke will be finished before they move onto the next book. Morning studies are held in the Fireside Room at 10AM. Evening studies are held at Penny K’s home at 7PM

For those that are curious about our new logo…The symbol has several things that we feel are important to St. Peter’s. First, the symbol itself is a P…for Peter. There is a black cross in the middle. The surrounding colors represent our beautiful stained glass windows.
Preschool End of Year Picnic!
The end of the year picnic is Thursday, May 24th at 10:30/1:00 and Friday, May 25th at 10:30 out on the front church steps. Everyone arrives at the same time. At St. Peter’s, we celebrate Pentecost with many other faith traditions. It is celebrated the seventh Sunday after Easter. It commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit on the followers of Christ. Please bring a red geranium to worship on SUNDAY, MAY 20th to celebrate!

Food Bank Collections
This month we are collecting jars of spaghetti sauce, macaroni and cheese cups, toilet paper, tuna fish, deodorant and bars of soap.
All Daughter’s Tea
Circle Six will be hosting its annual “All Daughter’s Tea” on Sunday, May 6. All women are invited to attend. Tickets are free and can be picked up in the office.
