Please join the mission group after worship service next Sunday, Oct. 14th for a chili potluck. A freewill offering will be collected to benefit our window fund. We are looking forward to good food and fellowship as we celebrate the autumn season!
Throughout the month of October, St. Peter’s will be taking donations for Neighbors in Need. Offering envelopes were in the October 10th bulletin; however, for the rest of the month please make a note on your normal offering envelope. Contributions to Neighbors in Need can also be made online at www.ucc.org/nin .

We will be raffling off this gorgeous lap quilt made by Christine Burman at Trunk or Treat! All proceeds go to the Stained Glass Window Fund. It will be on display during Sunday Service the next 4 Sundays, and you can buy raffle tickets in the Fellowship Hall after Sunday service!

The ladies bible study will be resuming their studies the first Tuesday of the month beginning October 2nd. The Book of Luke will be finished before they move onto the next book. Morning studies are held in the Fireside Room at 10AM. Evening studies are held at Penny K’s home at 7PM

For those that are curious about our new logo…The symbol has several things that we feel are important to St. Peter’s. First, the symbol itself is a P…for Peter. There is a black cross in the middle. The surrounding colors represent our beautiful stained glass windows.

August Food Bank Donations
In August, a total of 128 items were taken to Good Shepherd Baptist Church Food Bank! Thank you for your generous donations.
Have you glanced at the sidewalk in front of our church lately, to see the bricks that honor the memories of loved ones, past ministers, and friends? You, too can purchase a brick! The cost is still $150. If you are interested in purchasing one please contact the church office to order your memorial brick.
August Noisy Collection
This month’s Noisy Collection on August 26th collected $159.41 for the Amherst Police Department’s “Cram the Cruiser”. That will purchase a lot of school supplies! Thank you everyone for your donations!
