  • Preschool Openings
    St. Peter's U.C.C. Preschool in Amherst is accepting registrations for the 2010-2011 school year.  Please click here for more information.

  • Special July 4th Community Serivce / No St. Peter's Service
    On the Fourth of July there will be NO worship service at St. Peter's UCC, Amherst.  Please join in a community worship service being held at the Amherst Marion L. Steele High School stadium at 11:00 A.M. (in case of bad weather the service will be held inside).

  • Summer Schedule
    Sunday morning worship is being held at 10:00 A.M. during the summer months through Labor Day weekend.  The 9:00 and 11:00 A.M. services will resume on September 12th.

  • Vacation Bible School
    All aboard the Boomerang Express!  This Vacation Bible School will be held July 19th through July 23rd.  Join us as we take a make believe train ride across the Land Down Under!  As we wind our way through Australia, we’ll discover the vastness of God’s love.  There is lots to do… games, crafts, snacks, animals and even a guest from Australia.

  • Blood Pressure Screening
    Our parish nurse program is offering blood pressure screening at 11:00 A.M. on July 11th in the Fireside Room.

  • Helping the Needy
    People from St. Peter's U.C.C. will be helping to serve a meal at Catholic Charities on July 25th in Lorain.  Help is needed for food preparation, and serving the meal, as well as donating cupcakes and Ziploc bags.  Please call 440-988-2211 or 440-233-7704 for more information.

  • CROP Walk for Hunger
    The last CROP Walk for Hunger was in September 2009 and raised over $1,100.  The amount will be matched by the Nordson Corporation.  The annual CROP walk is an interfaith community event to help Church World Service stop hunger.  Twenty-five percent of the funds we raise go to the Amherst Food Pantry to fight hunger in our own neighborhoods.  The remainder provides international relief and development.
